memorial weekend

What a weekend Mom and Dad will be here for our 1st cookout tomorrow afternoon and we are still unpacking stuff. We had visitors today 1st Rick and Preston stopped by on the way home, then Eric and Shelley stopped by after dinner to have a look at the place we had a cup of tea and a nice visit  nice to have visitors even if we are still getting settled. I hope the weather holds out tomorrow even if we have a covered pattio.

another week

Well another week down  things are starting to take shape around the new homestead. Paul and Chris hung a few pictures on the walls and it is starting to look a little better. Tomarrow we will unpack more boxes and find more dishes and silverware. They are out there somewhere.

hi all  haven't  posted in a while . AS  some of you know my life has has been very crazy the last oh 6  months or so Paul had a 2nd stroke and is now disabled and thinks he is worthless. He is not we all know that. He is doing his therapy and doing better and better,and we moved into a single story house a week ago. So as you can see I have had my hands  pretty full. My computer is broke  and so am I. so I`ve been trying  to learn how to use my kindle more. There you have it My crazy life in a nutshell I will try and do better at posting things take care love to all. Dianna

Because I was able to use Pauls computer this morning  I am able to get on to my Blog and post some thing new after 6 month of not being able to blog. Anyway  Happy New Year everyone . I hope that everyone has a wonderful and fruitful 2013. I hope everything is better for you all and the the world will be a better place in this new year.

I sure hope things are going well with you . I started this year off with a bulged disc in my back I hoping to have it taken care of without surgery time will tell . Today I felt pretty good hope this will keep up . I think that I will work on things like Paper work filling so I don't over do and start hurting again anyway not much going on here. Well Merry Christmas everyone There is a lot to be thankful for this year . Misty is Married to a good guy as I understand, Derk Carlson. Doug Passed his test for School. Bridget gave us a new Little grand Child Lillian ( Lilly) , and Chris is in school too. I still work on campus and Paul is back to work Driving for Trade winds. I have have been busy with my hands crocheting a lot of different gifts for Christmas , when you have over ten grand kids you try and find something every one will like and won't break the bank. Hope everyone has a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.

I hope that everyone is having a good holiday. This year Paul and I entered a grill off at the American Legion Hall in Albany.

For Best Burger in Albany. we competed with 1st Burger, American Legion, and VFW.

Not to bad for Us . We had a good time and its a good way to spend our Anniversary #6 for those who are counting.

You Know me I do like a good roller coaster ride but I think that this one is a doooooozy!!!!!!!!!!!

I was rudely awaken on Sunday morning by the cat to find that it was raining in the house not outside like it should be. By the way thank you cinder for waking me up, you are such a good cat. So now it is time to demo. dry out then reconstruction. Ruffly 45 days. Move stuff back in and unpack all over again . I guess it wasn't done right the 1st time so I will have to do it over again. In the mean time, I will reside at the La Quinta Inn in Albany. Have a great week everyone I will try and have a quite one.

Well it has been a busy year I must say.

Paul is at a new company now , still driving long haul.

Mom and Dad have there house back and Paul and I have are own space . Some time this year I should be getting a pass port so I can go see my sister in Germany we will see how that plays out. Until then I still have a lot to do I have had the kids from up north come down twice and visits for Paul's kids too,as well as trying to get the house in order some what and trying to set up the budget . Life is good but busy too.
